Every semester, you must pay the required university fees and student union fees to stay legal as a student. After payment, an alert would be sent to the mailbox showing details of the recipient, IBAN, BIC, a reference number for the payment of the ÖH student union fees/tuition fees.

Students whose fee-free period has expired, or who are required to pay a fee due to their nationality or taking a non-degree programme, must pay university fees every semester.
University fees amount to EUR 363.36 per semester and EUR 726.72 per semester for third-country countries. Also, students are expected to pay the student union fee and insurance fee of EUR 20.70 per semester. Therefore, EUR 747,42 is paid per semester.
In the extension term, the student union fee remains unchanged, but university costs rise by 10%. Students paying for the period of the extension term must pay a total of EUR 420,40 per semester.
